Our front steps and porch are old cement, with several layers of old peeling paint.
What can we cover them with? Has anyone used any sort of stone tile? Any contractors that you can recommend?
Thanks

Flagstone looks very nice!!!! I wouldn't think of buying that stuff that you spread on and it looks like stone (can't remember the name). Won't last very long!!!!

Yeah, we looked at that stuff. It doesn't look all that great unless it's perfectly smooth, and our porch/steps are far from smooth

Slate tiles will also work...knew someone who had it done...looked pretty good. But don't install regular house floor tiles...I have seen some people do it & they look really bad & are quite slippery when wet ;)
Here is a pic of their front stairs!

Doesn't that stuff shale though, when exposed to weather?

It was done couple of years ago & still looks the same. No problems...It's natural stone so it can withstand outside conditions.

You have a few options.
1) Scrap the paint and repaint the stairs
2) Jewelstone
3) Non Slip tiles
4) Concrete Stone steps
