256MB ATI Radeon X1300 Pro from Dell.

Is it any good and how does it compare to cards like 7600gt?

Is it worth the upgrade price on Dell or should I just go with the x800 refurb?

TIA

A X800 is significantly better.

Scroll through the different benchmarks and see for yourself:

Depends how much it is on Dell. Their upgrades are often priced rediculously, so unless there's some sort of special on at the moment, I wouldn't suggest going with the Dell upgraded X1300.

Also, this card is at the bottom of ATI's lineup and looks pathetic if you want to compare it to the 7600GT or X800

The 7600GT absolutely destroys the X1300pro.

X800 puts up more of a fight but the winner would still be the 7600GT.

So your decision is pretty much dependant on the upgrade prices.
