I searched the threads, dosn't seem to be a consensus home insurance company like cars where everyone going with bel air direct. I'm thinking to switching to state farm insurance, they are way too expensive 800 a year for home insurance, any good insurance companies out there for the home?

I went with RBC...was the cheapest for my house vs. many others that I called. Try getting online quotes from TD, PC Financial, www.insurancehotline.com, www.kanetix.ca, etc...

I picked BCCA over RBC & TD because it was the least expensive- this was for a new concrete condo

RBC Direct for both home and auto, it was the cheapest for us, and the discount for both made it even better.

Did a quote for a friend using Belairdirect, their price is ok too.
