CIBC service charge

I just noticed that my CIBC bank account, the service charge for the end of march is $6.9 instead of the regular $3.9, is it increased or else? :mad: :mad:

your 3.90 monthly fee includes a set # of transactions usually (interac payments, bill payments, atm withdrawls etc...) if you go over that set amount of transactions you get charged, usually anywhere from .65 to .95 depending on the bank and banking plan. you problly went over and thats why your monthly SC is higher.

$3.90 is for everyday plan which gives 10 transactions/month. Extra transactions are 0.60/each. If you got charged $6.90, that means you went over by 5 transactions (hence $3.00 more).
