i need the model and year of two cars.
1) water pump removal without the need to remove anything else
2) water pump removal that needs to remove the radiator
please help.

2. 1998 GMC Safari van? 1989 Chevy Suburban? I googled them and it said the fan needs to be removed, not the radiator itself. It would be real bad planning by the engineers if one had to remove the radiator itself to get to the water pump.

I owned a 74 Dodge Colt (made by Mitsubishi...)... to get to the water pump, you had to take off the fan belt... to take off the fan belt, you had to take off the fan...to take off the fan, you had to take out the rad.. to take out the rad, you had to take off the front grill...
Lets talk about bad engineering....
