Instead of having one wireless ruoter and one wireLess adapter, can I network two wireless routers instead? (ie. linksys)

Are there any issues?

No problem at all. I use two wireless routers in WDS and a third router to act as a wireless bridge allowing me to plug in any device with a RJ45 port, like my PS2.

Any problems if one was a dlink and the other a linksys? Quality suffers?

I ask about the two wireless routers being an issue because I have VOIP adapter, which requiers a port, and the wireless adapter I have doesn't have an extra port for it. I do not want to hook up my VOIP adapter in my friends room and have my phone in his room - i'd rather set it up in my room. I hope that made sense.. lol.

Good news. Thanks.

What's the difference between these two:

Linksys VOIP G Wireless Router (WRT54GP2-CA)

or
Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router (WRT54G-CA)

Besides one having VOIP.. what's the major differences? I was hoping to purchase this one because it has voip already built in, saving me the hassle to transport my voip adapter around. I just don't want the qaulity to suffer if the the wireless G (second link) is much better.

What router are you using to act as a wireless bridge? Is there anything special you have to configure to make it act as a bridge? :cheesygri

You may need DD-WRT or some other 3rd party firmware.

Linksys WRT54GP2 Wireless-G Broadband Router with 2 Phone Ports

Do I need the other firmware? Does the other router require the firm ware?

or is the pc wirelesss adapter a better choice?

Thanks

You cannot install third party firmware like ddwrt on the WR T54GP.

I would recommend the Linksys WRT54GL or Motorola WR850G. DD-WRT can be installed on both...
