Quick PC question

My computer was not keeping the correct time of day and was just going blank for 20 seconds without doing anything every time I reset, so I figured I needed a new battery.

So I replaced the motherboard battery (CR2032) with a brand new CR2032, and I still have the same problem.

Can you help?

Have you tried resetting the CMOS and flashing the latest firmware to the BIOS?

Try removing the CMOS battery, then unplug the power cable to the motherboard, leave it for a minute, then boot it with the battery in.
