Hello,

I have a question for tax experts and/or those who's had experience doing so.

I'm a network engineer and in 2006, and I spent some money on Cisco books for my work and also Cisco Certifications. Do these qualify as Examination fees / textbooks?

I called CRA, but they can't give me a definite answer. They told me that it sounds like it is similar to tuition, so I can try to deduct it and provide proof on (1) receipt for books and exams (2) proof that it's related to my work, and (3) proof that there are courses for these exams.

Just wondering if anyone has done it before, or have any suggestions...

Thanks,
