Disposables bottle liners

Going on a trip in 2 weeks and was looking at getting disposables. Currently have Avent bottles (yeah I know about the polycarbonate debate), and saw they have a new Tempo disposable system. I was looking at getting that but have phoned over 10 places and nobody knows anything about it.

Does anyone know where I can get this disposable or what other options I have? I was looking at a system where I can pour liquid in on my own, such as formula, water, etc...

The old avent system looks difficult to pour liquid into, not sure if it would work. Any advice would be great, I would have to purchase something by this weekend.

I was at BRU at Hwy 7 and Bayview on Saturday and they had Medela ones. I don't know if that helps, but I hope it does.

Not sure if it does. I thought Medela had plastic bottles to hold breast milk (we used those) and plastic bag/liner thingies for pumped breast milk. Not exactly what I'm looking for. I'd ideally like the Avent Tempo like I said, but am willing to try another system if I can't get that one.

What's the advantage of the Tempo; that the liners are pre-formed?

i went and bought some playtex pre-formed bottle liners to test out when defrosting my bm...

i think it's similar to what you're looking at but they can only be used in playtex bottles

the liners are about $5 for 50..

Yes, they are pre-formed, thus easier to put things in like juice, formula, etc.

Thanks, I'll take a look. I just like the Avent system as we already have the nipples and such, but I will take a look. I looked online and it looks just like the Tempo system. We'll probably end up getting the playtex then for the trip.

UPDATE

I contacted Avent and the CSR said that the Tempo system is not yet available in Canada. I also took a look at the Playtex system and the Avent VIA system. VIA would cost a lot more as a disposable, so I'll probably end up going the Playtex route. Thanks for the tip kaimui22.

Have been using Playtex for 1.5 years. My son loves it. He will squeeze the bottom to get the milk. He can hold the bottle straight too at sit up position, which is good for the ears coz the milk won't go into the ears.
