I just watched the final trailer and here are the few bad guys I picked up:
- the green goblin
- venom
- sandman
I hope the movie isn't like 6 hrs long (2 hrs each bad guy) lol!

Yea I'm kind of doubtful they can pull it off while keeping the storyline focused in that 2 hour timespan. I think at most 2 major villains would do (see the ruin that is the batman franchise).

Isn't the Green Goblin just Harry in a suit his late father built? Never heard of Sandman. Venom will likely only be a teaser. I mean, they will try and milk the franchise for all its worth so this installment may just be a prelude to Venom where they would want to build the story up before the final confrontation.

That's what I think. I think Goblin will be used just to show the dark side of the symbioate and Venom will be the teaser for the next movie. Sandman is the main villain in this one, I feel.

I think it will go like:
First 30 minutes - Happy happy with MJ, the new green goblin starts pissing him off
next 30 minutes - he finds that venom material and kicks the green goblin's ass... but then his personal life starts to go to ****
next 30 minutes - he takes off venom material stuff and the other guy gets it. Venom is now pushed asidea nd the sandman comes into view
next 30-60 minutes - fights with sandman escalates, venom comes back and easily dispatches sandman after spidey couldn't do it and after a "wow, thanks!" from spidey venom promptly starts kicking his ass.
Last 10 minutes - stuff is kinda patched up with MJ, spidey never finds a way to kill venom but he either escapes from him or locks him away. End scene is very "I'll be back" style for venom.
I could be totallllllly off base, but I really think he'll use his venom-material to kick harry's ass.

From the last trailer I'd say venom comes in in the last quarter of the film. Spider-man meets up with New Goblin and sandman in first quarter. Bonds with symbiont in 2nd quarter and kills Sandman by mid film. He almost kills Harry in the 3rd quarter which causes him to want to get rid of the new suit. This is when bonds with Eric and he becomes venom.

Nope, the main villain in this one is Spider-Man fighting his dark side.

the new goblin gets his ass kicked fairly easy (if you watched the 7 minute clip at the end of heroes)...i believe it will be the introduction...the sandman will be the villain for the majority of the movie..kicking spideys ass until he dons the black suit...and then beats him to a bloody pulp until he realizes that the black suit is corrupting him (along with his life that is crumbling)..he gets rid of it and the finale, venom vs spidey!
thats my guess.

It's the Hobgoblin, not the Green Goblin.

Harry is not Hobgoblin, in the comics he was Green Goblin.
however he is known as the New Goblin in the movie.

From the looks of the last trailer, I think the finale is between Spiderman and Venom. It doesnt look like Venom will be "back" .. (this also makes sense if you consider Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst's latest comments about a 4th Spidey movie)
Also it'll be interesting to see how they introduce the symbiote since Spiderman brought it back from space in the comics.

Don't forget that Gwen Stacey is supposed to be in this one as well.
The Symbiote suit will likely make its way to earth via an asteroid ala the comic, or they may not explain its origin at all.
Spiderman needs to get his ass kicked as regular spidey before getting the suit, this will likely be in a fight between he and Sandman, partly to show the power he gains from the suit, partly to flare his obsession with destroying Flint.
The movie is supposed to be about 2 and a half hours.
They should be able to fit it all in there and maybe we'll get to see spidey take one 2 vilains at once.

thats similar to the comic book...
in the comics spidey is all good, and then one day he gets infected with the symbiote. He notices that he can kick so much ass, and he actually does fight some crime while kicking some supreme ass. But he notices all the changes and how its actually screwing him over!!!
He somehow kicks the symbiote, and it binds to Eddie Brock instead...

from my years of cartoon watching and being a comic book fan, i think spidey actually kicked the symbiote habbit by sticking his head in a church bell! They hate sonic waves...

Didn't they show him at the church bell scene in one of the trailers?
Anyhow, are Toby and Kirsten signed on for longer? I thought them and the director said 3 was enough?

the symbiote is created from an experiment by doctor conners (lizard)..says so in the new trailer and its almost similar to the origin in Ultimate Spiderman.

Agree but...
2 hours=more showings per day=more money for the movie company.
Also means more demand for the "extended version" DVD=even more money for the movie company.
Losers=us.>:(

I think the last thing the Spiderman movies have to worry about is making money...
Sam Raimi is a genius though so I'm sure he's on the ball with the villains/storyline/screen time etc...

That's how it happened in the amazing spiderman cartoon back in the 90s. The stuff then finds Eddie, and he and Eddie brawl it out at a shuttle launch. Loud noise freaks out the symbiote, and Spidey tags it to the shuttle, launching it from whence it came.

If you remember, in the cartoon the symbiate came attached on a space shuttle.

Church bell scene is the exact same as Web of Spider-Man #1. Thats where they got the idea. It drips down and finds Eddie in the church. They both share a hatred for Spider-Man so Venom is created
and a guy above never heard of Sandman. Wow, he is one of the original villians from the comics
