my fried chicken isn't good, not crunchy enough and little flavour. what am i missing?

pepper

I also use Kosher salt, garlic


I put mine in buttermilk overnight, it really makes it moister once fried.

How hot are you frying it? I only use enough shortening (over low heat) to come just 1/8-inch in a cast iron skillet. When it's completely melted, raise the heat to 325 degrees

It will crisp it well...about 8-10 mins per side.

Must be sure to have no pork in the salt. :)
