haha it's just cause everything has gotten so confusing from that thread.. everybody's calling me kelvin now, and other stuff, so now everywhere i see something that's misnamed

and it was kind of surprising because when i was thinking japanese singer + green day song.. so that was kind of confusing. didn't expect it

I'm not sure if anyone here has heard of Chemistry. One of my favorites would have to be 'almost in love'. I find myself choosing that for karaoke every now and then, even though I'm not entirely big on slow Japanese songs.

I'm not sure if anyone here has heard of Chemistry. One of my favorites would have to be 'almost in love'. I find myself choosing that for karaoke every now and then, even though I'm not entirely big on slow Japanese songs.

Yeah I'm a big CHEMISTRY fan... they're awesome, but they lean more towards the upbeat stuff. "Change the World" is another great slow-ish track from them.

It's the opening song of the Japanese version of the game, not ending. Ending is even slower, name escapes me at this point

Yes. Hyesung from Shinhwa.

I thought the original song was sung by Jacky Cheung? This is so old... heard it when I was so young.

I'm no lawyer so I can't say for sure that it's illegal. All I know is that the media paints it as something in the gray area. Naturally I would say that it's illegal, but what you do is your business and not mine.

I don't listen to Chinese music but there's one that I like because it's in the soundtrack of one of my favourite movies, "The Killer", directed by John Woo. I don't know the title of the song, but I heard people refer to it as the love theme from The Killer, sung by Sally Yeh. The song meets some of your criteria: it's slow and has piano. You might be able to find it on YouTube.com if you search for "Yeh" and "The Killer".
