I've been confused about this for a long time. Why did it take so long for the court to force DNA testing to determine who is the father of the child? Is it because Howard Stern knows that he is not the real father of the baby and that he may lose custody of the kid?

The usa courts can not force the dna test as they are in the bahamas.Aslo in the states it is different birkhead would have my rights then stern.How ever in the bahamas stern has more rights then birkhead.

To do a DNA test, you need a sample to analyze, and a sample to compare to. The last part might be slowing it down, thats my guess.

They can still take DNA from her dead body. It's not because she's dead and her DNA is no longer usable. I just don't understand why it's taking so long for the DNA test to be conducted.

It will go alot longer.ann;s mother is going for custody of the baby once the father is known.So were looking at another 4-8 months of this.
