I don't know why people hate it so much. I don't like Coke/Pepsi in general, never have.

BUT, when Vanilla coke first came out, I fell in love with it. It's ESPECIALLY good on the FIRST sip!

I loved vanilla coke too!! I don't think it's as common anymore(They are/have phased it out). If you like vanilla coke you might also like Schweppes Cream Soda(it tastes very similar to vanilla coke with less caffeine and carbonation), usually sold in Chinese Supermarkets i.e. T&T if you live in the GTA. Just more expensive though.

Thanks for reminding me that i want cherry coke... in high school last year, only 1 of the 5 pop machines sold cherry coke... And i loooove that stuff. Then it got switched to Vanilla Coke which i didn't like as much, but like too.

get vanila flavor shots in the cofee section or your local cofee specialty store eg. star bucks/timothys.

Black Cherry Vanilla Coke is being Discontinued in the US and original Vanilla Coke along with Vanilla Coke Zero is coming back to replace it, no word on if that is going to happen in Canada too but we are normally not far behind the US

The PH of your stomach varies between 1 and 2. As you chug back the pop nothing really happens... unless if you keep a mouthful of it sitting around forever... and even then your big concern is the glucose in there being used by the bactera to respire anaerobically and create lactic acid that will dissolve your tooth enamel. (Anaerobic respiration would be done after all the dissolved oxygen in the coke is used up, which would be pretty quick)

If it's already in your stomach, you have no possible worry. That nice thick mucous coating of your stomach is made to within stand Hydrochloric acid of a PH as low as 1. Your pancreas might have to make a little more bicarbonate for your duodenam but that's about it. Maybe, *maybe* if you had an ulcer in your esaphogus the coke could irritate it on the way down... but ulcers generally don't develop there (can't think of a case where one has, although I'm sure it's not impossible but then again it might just be called something different there).

So yeah. Coke's acidic but it's really not harmful. All that sugar is bad if you don't brush your teeth though, so either drink diet or brush your teeth!

Just a few months ago I was like "Dammit, why can't I find any vanilla coke?" I was so sad, but then I found black cherry vanilla. I'm so glad they made it in diet, I can't remember ever finding vanilla coke in diet.

I agree it's no substitute, but it's done it's job in keeping me quiet until the real stuff is back!

Diet Coke Plus to contain minute amounts of vitamins B3, B6 and B12, as well as zinc and magnesium.

This drink will be availible in the States in April. Definately expect it to hit Canada later in the year.

I think it's regularily $3.88 at Wal-Mart.

Target has alternating specials between Coke and Pepsi. Last week Pepsi was 4 for $12. Coke will generally go on sale sometime for the same price. If you are lucky sometimes it even drops to $2.75/Case which is flaming hot. The only bad thing is Vanilla/Cherry then generally sell out very fast at that price. I've been down there during those sales only to be dissapointed that there is none left (don't worry i had other stuff to get too).

me and my cuz recently went to michigan, and found vanilla coke at a walmart...
so we ended up buying i think 6 cases of it and 1 case of cherry coke zero....
it almost made our trip worth it just for the coke...

I think I remember reading somehwere that those are usually more abundant around passover (or maybe it was another Jewish celebration) at Jewish grocery stores

I know what you're referring to, but these are different. There's a limited release of Pepsi and Coke using regular sugar and will be marketed as such (I think one is Pepsi Pure?)

I hated Vanilla Coke and can't remember what it tasted like but what if you put vanilla extract in Coke. Would that get the taste?

I love Cherry Coke and my mother said when she was young they went to the Malt Shop and they put cherry syrup in Coke to get Cherry Coke and Vanilla to get Vanilla Coke. I couldn't find cherry syrup in Canada so I bought some in the States two weeks ago. I also stocked up on Cherry Coke so I haven't had the chance to make my own.
