Restaurant name: 14th Avenue Restaurant and Bar
Address: 590 Alden Road,Unit 103,Markham,ON. L3R 8N2
Phone: 905-470-7143

I recently tried the 14th Avenue Restaurant and Bar located on Warden and 14th avenue (just west of Warden). I would recommend to others who likes steak and ribs, or even go there for a drink. I was very pleased with the quality of food and service that I received. Price is very resonable. I had the 15oz t-bone steak with soup & salad for only $18.95. and when you order a second set (which I did), it's 50% off which costed $9.48. They also have a wide choice of breakfast meals and snacks for you to choose.

Anyone else been here before?

Wow, this is right near where I live. Do you know from being in there whether it's family friendly? I have a 4-year-old son.

Thanks for the recommendation. We'll check it out in the next week. I mentioned it to my wife and she has gone past there several times - didn't realize that it was recommended by others. Thanks for pointing that out - I'll definitely be trying it.

I've been to this place for a few times. They're actually okay at the price. They have bad location so it's usually empty.

yeah my family actually rented out the entire place for a family function a couple years back, not too bad of a place.

I have been there several times. Prices are cheap, quality of the food is good and they will go out of their way to make things just perfect.

Problem is the location. It is in an industrial area and there are very few residential housing near by. That is why the attendance is poor at night.

But where else are you going to get a T-Bone for less than $20?

A few notable things to mention.

They offer a free wireless hot spot. It is managed by KiSpot, they have a few locations, but this is the only one I know of in Markham.

They also have karaoke parties, dance parties and cater to special events.

The bar area has several TVs so you can enjoy your sports.

Overall, it is a great place to hang out, have a couple of beers with your buddies and surf the internet, catching up on your message on RedFlagDeals.

I think the patio will be open soon.

If you want to see their menu, they have a website, but it is poorly done.

It is family friendly, they even have a kids menu.

I've been there a few times, and lately I've notied it's rarely busy now.

My last experiences have not been the best. It seems the people running it have lost the enthusiasm the place once had. It's looks more depressing every time I go.

After checking out the website, I went there on Saturday evening to check the place out and realized that the prices on the website have not been updated. For instance, the prime rib is now $3 more and the NY sirloin is $2 more I believe. Felt kinda cheated and decided to leave. :(
