I'm just looking for good songs (with lyrics, not scores) from movies...whether they're just on the soundtrack/in the film or are like the song that represents a movie (i.e. Titanic = My Heart Will Go On...Spiderman = Hero, etc)

So far I've pulled tracks from Spidey 2, Garden State, The Punisher (Broken), Daredevil (Bring Me to Life), Will Smith (MIB/MIIB/WWWest) and various Bond films (too easy).

I've been looking through my imdb voting history and the films I've seen but no song sticks out...probably just can't remember them. Hoping maybe some people have their own faves to share.

I think the ops wants epic song with high impact to the audience, such as My Heart Will Go On, or I don't want to miss a thing, when you bielive, etc

To OP : Academy Award for best original songs is a good start, check out here
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Academy_Award_for_Best_Original_Song

then check out the Nominated songs too

anyway I'm a fan of film scores so I think original song sucks :P

I am too, that's why I don't know that many...rarely have I watched a movie and remarked how great the soundtrack was but I often notice scores.

Some good stuff so far...gonna check out as many as I can; maybe some I've just forgotten about.
