Hello,
This new breakfast place in Markham opened a couple of month's back, called Cora's. Has anyone been there and if so, what are you comments? My wife, son and I are planning to go for breakfast there.

Not that location, but it's a successful franchise chain (http://www.chezcora.com/ (http://www.chezcora.com/Main-en/Historique1-en.htm)).
Great food but expensive. Limited menu because they close at 3pm.

i've been to that location and it's good. tastes just like all the other locations. good food but yeah... it's pricey for pancakes and stuff that you can usually make at home but might not look so nice. good as an every-now-and-again-treat though. :)

I went to the one in Woodbridge as well as a few of the MTL locations. The food is creative and good. Per person expect to pay about $10-12. There is a new one @ Steeles/Dufferin as well. The one in Markham you are referring to is Warden and 7?

Hi there,
Yes, that's the one we were planning to go to. I've never been to any of the restaurants in the franchise...I guess it's more of a breakfast place, then? Which is perfect, since that's when we were planning to go.
How's it stack up with another breakfast place, say, Golden Griddle?

Yes I've heard of the name and have been to this location last month or so. Looks clean and plenty of people eating there so they must be doing well.
Yes it's expensive but at least it's something more decent than McDonald's breakfast next door. :)

it blows the competition away, including golden griddle. kinda pricey though, but it's still ALWAYS very busy (ppl are willing to pay the higher prices).
they close at 3pm, if you can try to go early so you don't have to wait in line...

oh my godddd. the price is crazy high, and the proportions aren't THAT filling.
i'd rather stick to some chinese breakfast places, even comes with tea or coffee!

breakfast is an expensive meal.
hard to find a good and cheap one without being very greasy
i'm not a fan of cora's, like every has said the price way outweighs the food.

Definately overly expensive but saves me the trouble of cooking and cleaning from time to time. Food is average-good at times.
