Is there a big difference between PC4200 533mhz and PC5300 667mhz?
Is it better to have 2x512mb or 1x1024mb?
If I am running Windows XP MCE do I need 1gb or 2gb?
I can get 512mb 533mhz for $37.99 ($75.98 2x512mb)
1024mb 667 is $82.99 or 2x512mb 667 is $84.99
So some advice here would be great.

Depends on your mobo. If your mobo supports Dual Channel ... I'd go 2x1GB.
If not support Dual Channel .. go with one stick.

Is there a big difference between PC4200 533mhz and PC5300 667mhz? No, not at all.
Is it better to have 2x512mb or 1x1024mb? 2x512MB will give you a dual channel setup which will be slightly faster. But keep in mind that if you ever put in another 2x512MB kit, overclocking will become a sensitive issue.
If I am running Windows XP MCE do I need 1gb or 2gb? 1GB is perfectly fine, but if you can afford to put in more, do that.

So some advice here would be great. For a $10 difference, you might as well get the DDR2-667 stuff.
I hope that helps a little.

Yeah, it has 4 RAM slots, and can do dual-channel.
