What books did you find especially helpful & informative? Mine are:
The What to Expect series - good for reference & answering questions
The First Three Years of Life by Burton White - i found to have excellent advice on child rearing, worked for both my kids IMO
1-2-3 Magic by Thomas Phelan - helped alot in discipline issues! really worked with my son.

Depends on what info you are looking for? Info on overall child rearing or specfifc info, like on ADHD.

To get me through the nine months:
The Expectant Father - month by month explanation of what is going on, what to expect and how I could help.
To get me through the birth:
The Birth Partner - This book was great. It helped me get the courage to actually be an active member during the birth experience and helped make the event ours. I recommend it to all my friends who are helping their partners through the birth
