Looking to collect firewood to burn at the cottage for the upcoming summer season. Anywhere from hardwood logs to scrap wood (non-treated), as long as its cut up managable sizes.
If you have any or know of anyone who has firewood they don't need, send me a PM or email me at robcottager@gmail.com
Can pick up anywhere in the GTA (Mississauga, North York, Toronto, Scarborough, Richmond Hill, Markham and Brampton)
Thanks in advance.

There was a place that makes pallets at Rutherford & Weston Rd (south of Rutherford -west side) that always has a sign out for free firewood. I haven't been by there for some time now so I don't know if they're still around since the area has become more developed now. Sorry, don't know the name of the place either. If you're in the area you can keep an eye out for it. Most of the pallett-making places might offer free scrap wood.

Yep, theres also a pallet place on Mavis, just north of Dundas, on the west side.
Also, have a look around for a stairwell manufacturer.
Often they will have a bins of end cuts of Maple, Birch and Pine.
Nice clean wood, no paint / stain / nails.
We go to a place in Burlington, for use in our Chiminea.
In Mississauga, try
