Does anyone know where I can get a discount coupon, discount admission, or free admission to the Canadian Home Workshop show happening at the International Centre in Mississauga (Toronto) next weekend (March 2-4)?

Thanks for any info.

Do they actually have discounts for this show? I don't ever remember seeing any in the past years??

This show makes me spend way too much money, but it's always good. Nice demos and lots of new tools!! I always come out of there thinking I can build a house.

I wonder if the Toronto Star will have a discount coupon like they do for various shows like Home Shows, etc.

I don't understand why anybody would pay to get in to this show, or any show and spend their money... I mean at least if you buy something they should get the admission fee back. I'm sure the prices aren't that great compared to buying at Home Depot or Rona

I doubt they can just give you the cost of admission back. Who is going to cover the overhead on the cost of the space, utilities, etc to put on a show? The vendors rent spaces I believe, so they're there to make some money and show their products, which are not always available in stores like Rona/Home Depot or others. Some of them come from different cities and provinces so to have "one stop shopping" under one roof is a nice idea. Saves us from ordering online (if avaliable) and paying shipping.
I agree that the cost of some shows are ridiculous and I can understand a coupon discount for admission, but not a total refund of the admission cost.....that would be great, but not practical.
