party game is pretty fun..(although some of the party game is not original..like they have golf and baseball, just like wii sport)
compare to other 3d sonic, it has a lot of improvement

adventure mode is so far so good
BUT lousy music...seriously their music suck SO badly

I wouldn't say user reviews are more important, because many people are stubborn and refuse to admit they made a mistake of spending money.

Trolling? IGN gave it a 6.9, but I can see why you would be upset at my comment, considering you pre-ordered the game and all (and don't want to live with the regret of a bad purchase). But with the reviews and all, I'll probably rent the game myself. Sorry to upset you in any way, bud.

6.9 from a Mario fanboy who hates Sonic is a great score. Shame you wouldn't know a bad purchase if it bite you in the ass, glad to see you judge games before you buy them though. 76%+ on Gamerankings for a 3D Sonic = Amazing, BUD.

I rented it from Blockbuster a couple of days ago, its a pretty good game.
The gameplay mimic a classic sonic game, with constant fast movement, and the Wii control scheme is great. The mini games are also a lot of fun.
However, it just doesn't feel like a Sonic game to me. I dont buy the story or the objective as a job for Sonic.
Overall, pretty good game, decent mini games, but the Sonic feeling just isnt there, for me anyway.

I just got it today at futureshop, it was the last copy (On the shelf anyways). I only tried 2 levels of single player, so cant tell you much on that but the multiplayer mode is quite fun. :cheesygri

As for those wondering whether or not to buy it, if you look at the reviews, the general consensus is that it's a good game, but it is flawed. I definitely feel the same way with some overall sloppiness (ie. some pretty questionable canera angles combined plus hints of sloppy level design may induce remote smashing) but of all the faults that do exist, none of them are bad. It's just a bit annoying when they do arise. However, the sheer speed and fun of some of the missions thus far, far outweigh these faults in my opinion.

Heh as for the party mode, forget it. While I've only played about 20 of the 40 mini games, I pretty much hated all 20 lol. Just stick to Rayman and Monkey Ball if it's a party game you're looking for.

I guess I would suggest renting first cause it's definitely not an 'omg must buy it now' game. It's good... but nothing more and nothing less.

the guy at fs told me today the regular price of sonic is $49.99 instead of $59.99 . really? why is it cheaper than the majority of games ? or that guy just bs?
And this same guy told me that i would need to wait around 1 month to get back my wii from nintendo, after i sent in because of the 'system files corrupted ' error. not the 10-14 days nintendo told me.
this certainly worries me ,did anyone had this kind of experience with nintendo?

Nah, Nintendo is really good with their timing estimate and they have great customer service and I say that with first hand experience. I was one of the few that got a bad Wii, I just called them up and they sent me one within a few days(less than a week) and then they included a prepaid purolator tag so I can send my defective one back. A+ customer service!

I think $49.99 at Future Shop is just their "Get it First" sale price. Since Best Buy and Toys R Us sells it regular for $59.99.
