Not sure but I'm going soon too. The cheapest I've found is $155 each way. If you hear of something cheaper could you post it here or PM me.
I'm also wondering about the sites where you pick your own price and they either accept it or don't accept it. (I'd really prefer to fly out of my hometown instead of Calgary...but it will cost me almost $200 more than to drive the 4 hours to Calgary) Just how much can you expect to save on the sites where you name your own price? And what about if you're flying out of a small town as opposed to a large city?

Depends on when you are going, right now you only have Air Canada and West Jet as options to fly YYC-YYZ with the pricing usually around $300 plus taxes round trip. However if it is in late spring or summer Conquest Vacations/Skyservice offer service that is typically cheaper then the big 2.
BrendaK: The name your own price sites like Priceline are only good for US Departure cities. So if your drive to a US city is shorter then the 4 hour drive to Calgary then you can look at them as an option (ie Southern Alberta/BC you have Spokane, Kalispell, and Great Falls) You may not even have to bid, I often recommend people who live near enough to compare prices directly from the Airlines or even on Expedia.ca/Travelocity.ca as the flights can be cheaper. For example a couple of summers ago I had some friends who needed to go to Prague from Regina. To fly from Regina was over $1300 per person, over $1100 from Calgary but from Minot, North Dakota it was just over C$800 per person and it is shorter drive then to Calgary. So for the two of them the savings (even including Hotel in Minot, Airport Parking etc) was great!
