question about NHL 07 (XBOX360)

in NHL 07 for XBOX360

i got the game used so i dont have the manual.... so how do you win a faceoff?
i get owned by the computer all the time!!!

Just work on your timing. If I remember correctly it's the pass button and the direction you want. Just as the refs hand starts to go down.

It's not pass, it's the right analog stick (shoot) to the direction of the player you want the puck to go to.

Yup...use the right analog stick...if you are going up...move the right analog stick down and vice-versa if you are going down(move right analog up). Also you can use the left bumper button...some people press this repeatedly to win the faceoff.

took me a while to figure out how to win faceoffs too. thanks for the tip about the right analog button! i was wondering why the LB bumper was the only one that u could use for faceoffs.. and it wasn't even like a proper faceoff win.

anyway, i'm an old-fashioned player.. i use classic controls rather than the default =p
