I am really considering it! The Zellers near me is only getting three wiis (or so they claim), and the sales rep said she thought people would start lining up around 10pm... I don't really want to camp overnigh but I also don't want to show up at 5am to find three people already there!

Yes. Hopefully, I can get a wii to go with the wii play and trauma center games I already bought.

The one @ hillcrest said they open at 8 on the site.. which is wayyyy too early lol ...
But oh well, that's the closest one to me (Still a 30 min drive) .. I'll be there at 7 the earliest lol.

Got a question about this. Does Zellers employ the "ticket" system, whereby they hand out tickets to select those that may purchase a Wii? If so, how does it work?? Is there a Zellers employee by the entrance doors? Or once the store opens, do you have to go to the electronics section and speak to somebody there?

The Zellers near me said they'll be coming out about an hour before opening and handing out tickets. I opted not to wait overnight. I am going to cruise by really early tomorrow morning and see if it's worth getting in line.

Just got back from Brentwood Mall in Burnaby, where there was already a family of three lined up to claim the three wiis that the Zellers there was selling today. Argh! Apparently 5am was not early enough to show up.

I finally got my Wii. I arrived at the Zellers in South Surrey, Semiahmoo Mall 10 minutes after opening and managed to snag the last of the four Wii's they had. I was lucky because I went to the Electronics dept and got my ticket there . . . other people were trying to get answers from Customer Service- who had no clue about anything.

Lol.... that's similar to my post recently venting about how ppl set up accounts just to post a message similar to the one below:

"Tell me how to find a wii, where to get it, what time, who to talk to, and anything i need to know to get a wii. now."

And then they just sit back, troll, and wait for somebody to tell them... without doing any goddahm work themselves. Gets me angry, esp. if I see that nice little "1" beside their total posting count.

At least the poster you're referring to had the courtesy to let us know where he/she got the Wii. I've seen so much worse around here, esp. with the Wii searchers. Sometimes, I just wanna make a completely fake posting telling them all to line up at Zellers at 5AM in the morning on a Sunday. :P

lol...I'm not bitter, if I was, I would go play with my Wii :D Wii ;) (lol, that joke is getting old) but it's worse now with all the useless threads and posts. When I first came on here, and it wasn't long ago, people knew how to post. A post about "Wiis in MTL" would be in the thread "Wiis in MTL". Now, there's ten threads about the same topic since people just come and go. I just find it annoying that's all.
