i got a confirmation # from FS after i order. does that mean i got one?

If you were able to Checkout and complete the transaction, then you got one. I believe at the very last screen before you complete your order they check inventory and if there's still a unit left then it's yours.

If I'm wrong, someone please correct me. Just based on my experience.

I place my order at BB when they still have like 27 left, by the time i got to the last screen it says out of stock, but then they let me process and check out and gave me a confirmation page.

However, when i check my BB account the order is there, but it says "out of stock"

Does anyone know if that means I get one or not?? ><

The "out of stock" status you see attached to your Wii in your order is just the current inventory status (as in, BB is "out of stock" and have no more units to sell). I would ignore that.... you've already reserved your unit.

The fact you placed your order and have gone through all the screens and got a confirmation number... chances are pretty good that you'll get your Wii.

Hey, this isn't Short-Circuit City where they take a billion orders, hand out phoney confirmation numbers and cancels orders en masse the next day. :P

Unlike TSCC, FS/BB's online stock is actually tied to their real-time inventory (*gasp*... what a modern-day concept...).:D

FYI: My order shows "out of stock" too. But from experience, I know I'll still get the Wii regardless b/c my order is tied to a unit in their inventory now.

It will show as out of stock until your order is processed, at which point it will show as in stock for YOU, since it is allocated for your account :)
