I just found out I have a telephone interview with RBC this Friday for a Software Development Co-op position. Do you have any tips and suggestions?

This is the type of work I love to do, and for a company I actually would be honoured to work for. I really want to get this job. This is will be my first co-op interview and hopefully my last.

Also there are two positions available and only two students from my University were selected for interviews, is this normal? Could it mean that they are confident about the candidates, or simply that they have candidates from other Universities?

for a large cooperation like RBC, the first round telephone interview are most likely from HR. So prepare for these kind of quesitons, ie talk about yourself. why you are applying for this job. what would you bring to this position. blah blah, you could search it online

good luck

good luckBZZZT.

Be prepared for a behavioural interview. A quick google search will show you what kind of questions are typically asked...
