SF accomodation?

we are going to San Francisco on March 11 for 5 nights. any suggestions as to accomodation, places to go and places to eat (cheap but good)? we need at least 2 rooms for this trip as there will be 6 adults and 1 child going.

i heard alcatraz offers a good tour. we will also spend a day in vallejo for the Six Flags.

any suggestions will be appreciated. thanks. :lol:

If you're a GTA native maybe thing about getting a Cedar Fair Maxx pass from Canadas Wonderland. Link (http://www1.paramountparks.com/canadaswonderland/shop/shopping_season_pass.cfm)

In which case you could go to Great America(formerly Paramounts Great America) and you would get in for free. That would be a cheaper option then going to Six Flags.
