I have just finished passing my fourth interview for a new position, and my potential employer stated that the next step is for me to pass a medical/physical exam as a requirement of employment.

What exactly are they looking for, and what results could hamper my employment?

I do not drink, smoke, or do drugs, however I am somewhat out of shape and probably have cholestorol.

What sort of exams/tests do they normally perform, because I hate blood tests with a passion.

I am hoping they are not going to prod me in the behind, or make me cough...

Sorry if this seems like a dumbass question.

The last one I did was just a very typical medical checkup, blood pressure, eye sight, some questions on history. Its not really used as a filter for employment, rather just the insure your capable of doing the job.

I had to do a hearing test as well, not so much to get the job but to placed in my file as the preemployment baseline.
