Hi all. Went to a Giant Tiger today to see a shelf and a basket full of the peach coloured skittles for .25. Reg sized bags which are usually .99 in a variety store. Peaches and cream. Bought a box of 24 for $6. Sweet,,,,

COLD deal. You'll have a dental bill that far exceeds what you paid for those.

It's not about how well you could use the deal. It's the RFD spirit that counts..

Looks at the pros:
Inexpensive and half the price of the dollar store. Ususally 2 for $1
Keeps the kids quiet in the back of the car or shopping
They taste good
Probably have a billion year shelf life cuz they are chalk full of sugar and coated
You can easily sneak em in to the movies as a treat to go with the free movie you attended from the coupon in the cereal boxes

Now that's thinking outside the box!

Nice deal, I was craving Skittles earlier today. Never been to a Giant Tiger. Unfortunately, the closest one to Montreal is up in Laval, and in the middle-of-nowhere part of Laval at that.

I hate how they almost never put expiry dates on the candy!
Esp the dollar store ones.

I always wonder how "old" they really are.
I was just at the grocery store AP and found pudding mix powder from 2003>:( ...now I know not to buy that!
It was from the Hulk movie promo-how long ago was that???

Skittles are good though, Yum!

I like Skittles.
The health nazi can get in on this deal too and use the Skittles to WAX the car if they don't want to eat them.

I love Giant Tiger. I wish there were more of them in the GTA. I don't get to Mississauaga very often.

It was my first trip in. Looks almost like the oldschool Bargain Harolds that used to be around 10-15 yrs ago. Wasn't a big store. The place seems kinda cheap looking though...might just be me.

Mmmmmmmm.....skittles.

Killed 4 bags in 2 days while on the computer.

Computer friendly snack. Can't spill and doesn't leave that nasty cheese residue on your fingers....heh heh

Naw, I'm nowhere near a health Nazi. I'm a former Skittles addict. If I have 1, I can't stop.

If it was expired, you get a new fresh one for free. That's A&P's/Dominion's fresh guarantee.

I swear the Dentists planned this whole thing up. It's part of their evil plan to put their hands in your pocket.
