hi all
I was wondering how do people find these government jobs? I graduated from science so I am interested in the ministry of health or related field. Can anybody provide me with some input. Is it always internal only or need to know people that is already working for the government to refer you?

While sometimes it is not 'hard' to get a government job, it can take a VERY long time, for a start to finish time of a posting to be 12 months (i.e. from the time the posting is made to the hiring is finished) is not uncommon at all.

Check the GO Jobs site which is updated every Friday if you're interested in working for the Province. If you see a job you like make sure you use the key words in the job ad in your cover letter/resume!

Also try Smart Systems for Health...they are a gov't agency..
