Hamony 880 washed out screen

Does anyone have this problem? The center of my screen is washed out blue.. it's white!

When I plug the remote in, the "usb connected" screen is fine. I can only think this washed out screen thing is a bug.

All in all, the lcd is of poor quality. I'm gonna check it out tonight when I get home and let u know. I think mine is a bit washed out too, not in center though, and I can see some vertical parallel white lines too!

It's true. Logitech went cheap on us and gave us a $299 remote with a passive matrix lcd screen. I would have paid $50 more for a quality TFT.

OK, I have the remote in front of me. I can see the blue color in the upper right hand side is slightly washed out. But not in the center.
If I were u, I'd definitely call'em up tmr morning and ask for a BRAND NEW replacement. Not some crappy refurbished ones.


Have u seen their latest remote? it is MSRPed at $500, WTF? Why do you need to buy a remote for half a grand?
Manufacturing/design/research cost is much much less than the price we got it. Since they acquired Harmony a couple of years back, they're trying to cover all their costs.
