ATI makes the graphics chipset for both cards, and then sells that to ASUS who makes cards using the chipset, but with their own design. ATI also makes their own cards. So while both cards have the same chip, the clock speeds and amount of memory may vary by manufacturer, so check all the specifications.

If you still don't know if they're the same, post both specs here and someone can probably tell you.

You'll have to be more specific such as where are you looking at these two price differences (send us a link to look at). Just to let u know your comparison is a little flawed. You usually compare ATI vs Nvidia and Asus, BFG, XFX, Gigabyte, MSI, PowerColor, Saphire... are considered Third party manufacturers meaning they tweak the original ATi/Nvidia cards and add their own memory and bus interface, they adjust clock speeds, they add output device like DVI or S-VGA or S-Video and they bundle their own softare which sometimes include games.

Hope u got it, if not send those links so i can point it out

Take care
