I am currently in the market for another laptop so I can retire my 3 year old ASUS, basically, the requirements are:

MUST BE:
less than 4lbs
less than 13" screen
1.5ghz or more
1.5" thick MAX
At least 3 hours of batt life
approx 2000CND
must have integrated wireless
USB's MUST be 2.0
not ugly
not dell

Could someone suggest something for me? as well as how much it would be and where I would be able to purchase it for the best price? because I know there are a lot of models that are not availible in major retail stores in canada, so if you know of other reliable sources, do share!

That would be awesome

Thanks!!! Any help is appreciated!!!

*if you have something that fits the above description that is in great condition and you're looking to sell, PM me!*

Thinkpad X60 series. Be aware that the optical drive is not inside the main unit. You will need the X6 Ultrabase or a USB optical drive.

Thinkpad X40/X41 should do as well.

I thought I saw a great deal on a used Thinkpad X60 here a couple days ago. I was gonna jump on it... but lack of widescreen, plain design, and lack of trackpad turned me off. 12" is also too small IMO.

Otherwise, it's most impressive feature is the 8+ hour battery life, very light, and ThinkPads are known for their solid reliability and toughness. Apparently their keyboards are 'legendary'... lol:lol:

Personally, I'm now looking for a 13.3" Macbook:cheesygri
