HI All, new to Ontario, so if I buy a used vehicle from reputable dealer do I have to do any kind of VIN search for accidents or does dealer confirm this?

Best bet is to always do a VIN search. Doesn't matter if your at a Hyundai dealership or a BMW dealership. It also provides background info on the car so you will ultimately know just as much as the salesman so they can't feed you BS. At the BMW dealership they tried telling us it was a local lease return, but a Carfax report (even though clean) showed it was a company car over in Edmonton. We still got the car, but we had a bargaining chip in place over some BS from the dealer, so best bet is always getting a carfax report.
