Just a warning out there to be on the lookout for the user safcc. I paid for an xbox game from him on Jan 13th, he says he sent it out on the 16th but as of yet, no game.

I have been pretty easy going up until now but he's been stalling me for the last week, telling me that tracking says it will show up in 2 days, then 2 days later it'll be another 2 days.

He's been good at replying to private messages but when I finally asked him to give me the tracking number he's gone silent...

Serves me right for dealing with someone with zero feedback. I had questions about the sale but gave him the benefit of the doubt. I should have gone with my gut feeling.

Beware!! All of his posts have been in the BST section and is probably looking to make a quick buck.

If everything is settled I will retract my statement. I think I have been fair and until I requested the tracking number he had been good at replying to PMs. Mainly it's the stalling tactics, and then blowing off my request for the tracking number. If everything's on the up and up, providing the tracking number should be a non-issue. Why should it be a secret? He's told me it exists....

you may wait a few days and then contact the local authority.

Well the game showed up, seller told me the game shipped from Houston, it actually came from Pakistan, it's also in PAL format. It came with no manual which he told me it included.

So, I have a game I can't play, in less than promised condition.

Overall do not deal with this person.

He now tells me that he didn't know that PAL formatted games wouldn't work in North America (we use NTSC).

He's misinformed me from the get go, the worst part is I could have gotten the game on eBay for a couple of bucks more brand new....

Scammers, gotta love 'em

Alright, after reading that you got the game I got my hopes up, however now I find out that it's in PAL and the guy is from Pakistan. WTF is this, why would he lie about his location and not know about the PAL format, and trying to conceal the tracking number? This is ridiculous. I bought quite a few games and if they end up all being in PAL format I'm not going to be happy.

I'll be sending him a PM regarding this to see what he says. I'll continue to post updates in case anyone else is in the same boat...
