So there's this girl I've known for a year that I've been falling for and she doesn't know it. Or atleast she doesn't know how far I've fallen. Sounds like a story you've heard before, huh? Maybe so but this is my story and story begins like this.

We'll call her Ms. S. And I might as well describe her since you're all dying to know what she looks like, right? Well, she's 30 the same age as me and approximately 5'8", with stylish chestnut hair that always smells perfectly divine when she walks by. She's got an infectious, soft kind of laugh that resonates and breaks you down into laughter within seconds. She's got a toned body, not muscular-crazy fit but just right and healthy looking. Hot. I'm in love with her smile. She's got the kind of smile that asks to be kissed even at the most inappropriate times.

Now I know you're thinking that I'm creating this goddess image and yeah I guess I am but let me balance it out a bit and point out a few things that I like about her the most and what makes her unique. Ms. S. is a sloucher and although she's got a great body she hides it with baggy clothes and I sense she doesn't have the greatest fashion sense at all. I've hinted a few times to try wearing something a little more fitting to flatter her physique but she just shrugs and doesn't understand the need to conform and look like the ailing celebrities in the magazines. She's an environmentalist. And not just the everyday I-Just-Saw-An Inconvenient Truth and now I'm going to save the planet environmentalist but a purist of sorts that I truly admire. Which is something that's caught fire the past few years in the media as being the good thing to say and the in thing to do. She the one that makes my reality come asunder. I can be sitting at my desk in complete concentration and entirely focused on task but as soon as I hear her voice or realize her presence that complete awareness warps me into chemical meltdown as the dopamine begins to flow...ah the feeling of natural drugs.

There's probably spelling errors and grammatical problems but its 10pm and I've been working a 16hrs so I don't really care at this point.

I would ask her out before some Inconvenient Truth bandwagoner does. If this woman has you tangled into knots over them then why even post here? A woman sounding like this demands action, not words!

I agree with Anessa.
Ask her out. Writing about it on RFD... although very entertaining... won't get you anywhere.

BTW: if you want to post your 2nd episode, please do. :D
We will be more than happy to give you further advice. :D

Well I'm sure this has been said before but if you haven't already, simply get to know her and talk to her. You don't have to act so shy, you're both 30 and hopefully mature enough to handle a situation such as this. Though if she is 30 and is still single, maybe she's the type that doesn't plan on dating or anything. Who knows? In any case, let us know how it goes. ;)

OP, next time you see her, and don't have the balls to ask her out, remember this "He who hesitates...masturbates..."

If she rejects you, big deal, think of it as one step closer to finding another chick. Nothing ventured...nothing gained...

From a girl's point of view, I find it kind of disturbing that a guy, who is not dating the girl, who is supposed to be a colleague at work, telling the girl how to dress, especially telling her to wear something more flattering. If a guy at my office told me to dress more sexy, either I'd be screaming CREEP or HARASSMENT!!

Girls, do you agree with me?

hmm.. DACC... I never thought of it in that way, but yes... a guy telling a female how to dress is a bit too invasive.

Now if our guy part-trader actually gave his "hints" as a complement (i.e. Wow..your eyes are so blue! I never noticed how striking they are because of your glasses...) then that is acceptable. Especially if followed by by a wink, or a cute grin, because that could be deemed as flirting.

But then if part-trader is constantly suggesting changes (and in a crude way), (i.e. "you should wear tighter fitting clothing" or "you should show your legs more")... well, then DACC, yes you are absolutely correct. That would be an "ew, please go away" type of comment.

I Think Ms. S might finally notice him =)
And then the guy will do something stupid like touch her leg, and then get smacked

You should ask her out. If it works out great, if not, you can move on. Be careful about building her up in your head too much. You might be creating an image she can't possibly fill, setting yourself up for disappointment.
