My ie is not working properly, I can open it and and then it sits there and flashes on the screen for ever!! Assuming I have spyware/virus action. I have scanned with AVG, found 1 virus and 29 threats, deleted them all. Then I scanned with Adware SE PRO found 85 threats, deleted them all. Is other programs I should be using and would work better?
Thanks!

Possibly some of your core system files are now damaged from the virus/adware cleaning. If you have a Windows disc, run the system file checker.
Enter sfc /scannow in the Run command.

OK will try that, and will advise what the outcome is!
Also, can i delete (uninstall IE) and reinstall, would that help?

uninstalling the virus is the only thing u could do... i perfer u reformat u computer just incase ur anti-virus left sum... Norton slows ur computer but use it then delete it because its the best protection... and McAfee has the best scan

spybot

get spywareblaster too, it's not a scanner program, but it'll help prevent some bad things from happening.

backup your important files, reformat your computer and don't use internet explorer anymore. Use a different browser.

Come into the 20th Century and use Firefox and Thunderbird.
You do that, while the rest of us non-timetravellers, who live in the 21st century, use Internet Explorer :D
