That's a trick question due to the fact that during the Great Depression people were so hungry they actually ate farm machinery. So technically tractors were food.

perhaps you should understand what happened under the great depression.

the "Great dustbowl" should be a term you should look up to understand the food situation

and also realize that food is a necessity and no matter what people have to eat.
