Wow, this guy is unbelievable. It's from those japanese game shows but this beats any obstacle course show I've ever seen.

Watch it again and tell me he doesn't look like an Asian Mickey Rourke.

Yes it's all done in one day. I used to acutally watch this when I was young..I'm surprised it's still circulating. I have never ever seen anyone actually pass all the obstacle courses, so I was so surprised! Nice find :)

Wasn't there used to be a similar show where in the middle an obstacle course, the contestant have to answer a math question or answer the color when two colors mixed together. Ex: if you see a red dot and a yellow dot, you answer orange. Their other obstacles are even as tough as the one in this video.

I wonder what happened to that show, maybe they ran out of contestants, but it definitely kicks American Gladiators' arse in terms of difficulty.

His name is Makoto Nagono and he competes regularly on the show called Sasuke, it airs in the U.S. under the name Ninja Warrior on G4TV. The Sasuke tournament has been going on since 1997 in Japan and has a tournament about once or twice a year. The op's video shows Makoto competing and completing Sasuke 17 and the only other person to complete the course is a man named Kazuhiko Akiyama in Sasuke 4.

Keep in mind that Makoto has been competing since the 7th tournament so it took him 11 tries on the course to finally beat it. They also change the obstacles each tournament, so it always gets harder. The last Sasuke tournament was Sasuke 20 and an American parkour competitor made it the furthest (stage 3). Makoto did compete in Sasuke 18, 19 and 20 but was eliminated in each of those (one was a disqualification and the other two due to the new obstacles).

you can watch all, or most of the tournaments on this guys channel (the broadcasting companies have been consistently taking down the sasuke videos on youtube but he doesnt tag or label them as such so they should be here for a while) :
http://www.youtube.com/user/theguy7121

the s stands for sasuke, the k for kunoichi (womens version)

so s#9p14 is sasuke 9 part 14 (japanese, no subs)\

and k#2p4 is kunoichi 2 part 4

and s#4ak is sasuke 4 Akiyama Kazuhiko (these are profile runs of certain competitors, they are subtitled and are G4TV rips)

enjoy.
