Someone told me that Blue mountain is starting to scan passes now for the lifts.

Can anyone who's been up this yea confirm if this is true?

Do they even have snow there yet? They had major problems in December w/the lack of snow.

yup blue has been open for a couple weeks now.

Weathers getting colder and starting to snow more.

So can anyone confirm?

If they dont now its a matter of time, every intrawest resort and any other big mountain resort does it.

Going to have to get rid of your fake pass soon eh?

lol...no i have a 5x7 but on weekends u can't use it for daytime and b4 i used to hit the hills by 1 PM instead of 4 PM, so I can leave a little early.

But if they're scanning now, i won't be able to go on b4 4 pm.

I was up on friday (19th) for some night skiing. I wasnt scanned or anything. I hold a 5x7.

Infact, my friend had his 5x7 in his pocket and he rode the entire time without a problem. It wasnt even visible, he may as well not had it.

was there on saturday with a 5x7...no scan on the Happy Valley lift @ least...some small parts on HV were bit icy but overall snow condition was decent imo.

I've been going up to blue alot recently and I have a 5x7. I haven't noticed any scanners or anything and I've never been checked for my pass. I never have it hanging out or exposed either. I noticed they check at glen eden in milton alot though.
