i hate paris hilton so very much. no, it's not a "love/hate" relationship, it's just a HATE one. i hate what she stands for, i hate how she's in the public spotlight all the time and worst yet, i hate how she has access to anything and everything she wants including nice cars which i could only dream of owning without breaking a sweat.

what's even worse is that we (all of us both fans and haters) fuel her popularity. she's like this disease you can't get rid of and to be quite honest, if someone were to kidnap her and put her on a shuttle straight to the sun i'd praise the lord for rectifying one of the world's most nauseating problem.

Yes - I also find it annoying that a vapid, useless bubblehead with NO redeeming qualities whatsoever (except fueling the luxuries economy?) is given so much. I mean - she's utterly useless! Just pretty eye candy (if that - I'm repulsed, personally.)

it depends on how famous/popular/controversial the photo is, but i've heard of magazines/editors who have paid upward of $100,000 (or more) per photo for very controversial stuff, which is why they are so aggressive.
