View Full Version : MSI 7900GTO Back In Stock @ NCIX

It looks like NCIX got their hands on some more of the now-legendary 7900GTO cards. For those of you who don't know what these are, they are basically underclocked 7900GTX cards. You can overclock them to above 7900GTX specs very easily.

Considering DX10 isn't going to be fully implemented for the next long while, this card will tide you over VERY nicely.

Price: $318 which puts it at the same price as a 7950GT.

I'm glad I picked up one of the EVGA 7900GTO's a few months ago when they were first released. All for a mere $270 directly from NCIX. I've overclocked it to GTX speeds, and it works flawlessly.

If you are a reseller or retailer, why are you posting here? I was under the impression that it was not allowed. There are channels you must go through to advertise here.

Since you are advertising the 7900GTO here, you must have then on-hand. If so, I would very much like a picture.

Just making sure. :D

No offense intended. I was just wondering since you did and still do come off as a retailer. You might want to change your advertising practices. :D

Its great to know us RFDers have access to a non-retailer such as yourself. :D

ty; as a member of the RFD community, i am happy to help out anyone who needs help within my best of ability; i have been since since high school;

$305 SHIPPED on this card if anyone interested, PM me ~ yes if anyone purchase from me and had a problem with this card, ship it back to me and i will take care of you in regards to the RMA process; so yes you will get the warranty if you buy from me;

So being able to OC to 650/800 for the core and RAM makes them a 7900GTX? If that's the case, the $200 EVGA 7950GT during boxing day could pull off the same thing. Wouldn't that be a hotter deal since it's at least $100 cheaper or is there something else about them that makes them better? The only downside was that 7950GT only had 256MB of ram.

P.S. an actual 7900GTX was only $290 during boxing day so I guess those cards should be going down in price soon. Why not just get an actual 7900GTX instead of these? o_O

If I remeber correctly those GTO use the same memory as the GTX but at a lower volatage so, it's not as easy to OC.

That's a big thing!
I just did an RMA for a Gigabyte 6800 and had to send it to the States. They'll ship it back UPS (you have no say) so even more $$$ when I get the brokerage fees.
Gigabyte may have a lifetime warranty but it'll cost you! :mad:

you don't pay need to pay brokerage on a warranty returned item, because your not buying a new item, therefore you can't be charged tax on it. You should make sure UPS knows that because I think they won't refund ur brokerage if you don't get ur forms straight.

I have two without a probelm. One of my friends' cards started artifacting but was replaced without a problem.

Sure if it was me who filled out the paperwork but it's Gigabyte who sends the replacement so, you’re at their mercy. :(

I was going to buy one 3 weeks ago and they had the same stock listed at the same stores.

I called Pacific Mall and they said both cards were in a system waiting to be picked up. The other location shrugged their shoulders and said they didnt have one even though it was listed.

Good thing because I picked up the 7900gs and overclocked it to faster than 7900gtx speeds for $139 :) ( I couldnt unlock my extra pipes like some, but it should still be close to GTO performance)

you could keep records of you shipping stuff to them for warranty work and present it to customs after to get a refund.

I mean you don't have to, but if you want to throw away money to canada customs, thats your choice.:lol:
