I was at bestbuy today and I noticed they are selling Logitech MX3200 keyboard and mouse for 79.99. Futureshop had it on sale for 69.99 and so does Staples. Regular price of this keyboard is around 120. Bestbuy probably didn't notice staples is selling it for 69.99, so that's one possible pm which you'll end up paying around 72$

Also Logitech Desktop LX 300 is also on sale at bestbuy for 29.99 and staples is selling it for $59.47 which you can also pm and you'll end up paying around 30$ which is really good for this keyboard

Better not PM then... wouldn't want to pay the extra $2 ;)
The actual calculation should be: lower price - .1 x (higher price - lower price)
So the first PM saves you an extra $1 and the second saves you $3.

I bought the MX3200 at Staples the other day for 69.99. I noted that although BB and FS made a big deal about the previous price, staples didn't even have it as a sales price.
It's been great for me so far. I needed something for my HTPC and this works great.
Edit*
Of note, was the $30 MIR from BB. I wondered if it were BB specific or not, as nowhere on the rebate does it specify that it has to be purchased from BB. I may send it in with a copy of my Staples receipt as mu UPC matches the rebate form.

I guess you can not save 3$ for No.2.
if you want to pm, you can only buy at staples and pm with BB, staples 59.47$ while BB (101.99-52.)=49.99
so 49.99+(59.47-49.99)*0.1 = does not make sense

Are these keyboard/mice combos of equal quality, or is one set better than the other?

so it's ok to PM staples at BB eventhough they have an MIR because after MIR it's still higher than staples?

how would MX3200 compare to MX700 Duo, I need to purchase a second keyboard and mouse combo preferably. Had thought of a G15 and MX1000 for more though......
I realize the MXC700 is older but it is rechargeable and the MX3200 uses battery, also was told the MX3200 goes to sleep and requires a bit more than usual movement to wake it but at $46~ with tax after PM and rebate that is pretty good

Well, what I did is buy it first and then bring the sales reciept and web-print back to the customer service ask for PM. And it works great!:D

LOL I would have just told them I will be printing it off anyways so save me the hassle. I scored the last MX3200 at Coquitlam,pm was no issue they just looked online and approved it. Fairly decent unit although I still prefer the MX 700 mouse over the MX600.....

I got the mx3000 set from staples on boxing day (uses the same mouse, just the keyboard is different) for $39.99 after rebate and it's definately worth ever penny, and I'm sure the the mx3200 is the same case, at this price.
The keyboard for the 3000 is way better than the mx700 and I'm sure the 3200 is similar. The mouse is better too imho since it is laser and is lighter. I just threw rechargable AA's in there. It doesn't have the convenience of a charging cradle, but because it's laser, it doesn't have the red optical light on all the time thus not having to drain the battery even when the mouse is idle. This results in a much longer battery life. According to logitech, a fresh pair of batteries can last 6 months.
All in all, if you have the mx700, i think it's tie to upgrade, especially at this price.

I got the LX300 setup on boxing week for $24.99
So far so good nice stuff, the scroll wheel on the mouse is a little noisy but that is really the only complaint I have.
