So I was using it to type us some essays, I managed to e-mail them to myself before opening up Safari. I was on YouTube, I closed Safari and all of the sudden Finder like stopped, I tried to Force Quit but it didn't work. After that I just held down the power button. I turn it back on and it doesn't turn on. I put my ear to the side of the laptop and hear something different from the hard drive, something like a noise where it's spinning then hitting something, sort of like my WD Raptor a long time ago.

So I already tried Apple + S, and dumping the NVRAM, still no go.

Luckily and thank god I have 3-year AppleCare when I bought this laptop used off a member from another forum. So what should I do? Take it to Apple Store in Toronto (not far from me) or do something else?

Also curious, will the hard drive from the Powerbook when inserted into the MacBook work?

call apple support, if nothing else, they may have a solution or tell you to take it to the apple store

Man, good thing you've got AppleCare! Yeah, give them a call first and see if you have to take it in. From the sounds of it you will probably have to.
