HD Quick set up question

just received my HD kit from rogers

they provide me with a coaxial wire i think it is, that goes from the wall to the cable box. my question is, do i have to use this wire or can i use the wire that's already in my house without affecting quality (I want to do this because the one they provided me is not long enough)

in other words, is the coaxil wire they provide a special "hd" wire or any coaxial wirewill do.

edit: also once i attach my HD box, do I need to do anything else to get HD cable or is it automatically hooked up if you have a HD box? do i need to call rogers or anything to tell them to start sending me HD signal?

You can use any coax cable. If they sent you the kit, they should have already activated the receiver on your account and pushed the service down your line. If not, a 5 minute phone call will get your service live within 5 minutes.
