don't know if it's legal, but unless it's going on F16 it'll look ugly.

for the safety of others please leave that rice off your car and drive with a round steering wheel.

If you do a lot of driving, aren't your arms going to hurt after a while? Nothing to rest on, constantly in 9-3 position?

And no airbag or horn or volume control or cruise control, if you have those on your car?

Not to mention that turning the car would be extremely awkward because the steering ratio for most cars are high.
This wheel seems like for sport/race car applications.

Hahaha nice one!

I doubt those are legal though :( Officers can probably argue that you can't make a proper turn (like the way they teach you in driving school, what's that called again?).

I think its called hand over hand steering.

I don't think it is legal...

I know a guy that had a chain-style steering wheel and the police told him to get rid of it, and it was (relatively) round.

Let us know when you find out for sure though.

that thing's gonna be useless on any production car. the only time you'd actually want a wheel like that is on a go-kart or an open wheel race car. steering ratios on regular cars are way too high to allow you to keep your hands at 9 and 3 all the time. imagine trying to make a quick, sharp right turn into the right lane out of a gas station downtown or something.

If your car came with airbags, your are not supposed to remove them. Your insurance company can reject a claim.
