I've noticed many GM Vehicles come with OnStar. What is it exactly? Is it a cash grab? Let's say you don't pay a monthly fee, can you still use the navigation and phone???

You like to be spoon fed information, don't you?

If your car has GPS Navigation built in with the screen, then you do not need to pay for the monthly OnStar fees.

Checking the actual OnStar website helps too you know.

It is just paying somebody so that you can talk to somebody when you are driving or in trouble.
