I just recently bought a set of Goodyear Nordic tires from CT. A comment about the tires is that they are extremely loud once you start driving above 60km/h. Has anyone else experienced the same issue or did the mechanic install them incorrectly?
Also, for these tires, is there a side that faces the inside and a side that faces the outside of the car?

I've had these tires on my Mazda6 wagon for 3 months now and haven't noticed the sound difference. Does your dashboard shake when your doing 100 km/h? If so then there could be a flat spot in your tire? It happened to me once, I went back to Sears and they replaced the tires.
I think these tires are directional... I don't 100% remember, just take a look on the sidewalls.
These tires are the same as the Goodyear UltraGrip 500 http://eu.goodyear.com/home_en/tires/repository/UltraGrip500/index.jsp?page=benefits

BTW, these tires are 25% off again this week. I love these tires, I might pickup another set for my truck with studs. CDN Tire will do it for $18 each.

Actually, I know someone who works at Canadian Tire head office and he told me that the Nordics are not the same as the UltraGrips. They have the same tread pattern but different tire compound. But they are apparently a lot better than last year's CT Nordic IceTracs
My dash doesn't shake but I can feel some vibrations through my gas/brake pedals. Not sure if it is because they are winter tires and the treads are new or if they were just installed incorrectly. Anyone else have any problems?
I looked at the tire and there is some text that says rotational and there is an arrow which points in the clockwise direction. I'm assuming the other side says the same. If it does, I'm still not sure whether there is an inny or an outty to the tire.

There's no inny/outy, they are directional. Depending which side of the car they are on will affect which side is facing inwards.
