I've used Priceline's 'name your own price' numerous times for rental cars, sometimes paying as little as $9 per day (for a compact). You can also check Hotwire for an idea of where to start bidding. Both use major rental companies only with presence at airports.

First time poster...

Hope this helps...I rented with Alamo (Standard SUV - 7 days -$150 US taxes in)...I've priced around and this seems to be a great deal...I used the entertainment book coupon and also used a coupon code from Almamo AD2155DJC ($40 off)...not sure if the agent was suppose to combine the, but she did.

Awhile ago they changed the online form to now accept Canadian addresses. It has always accepted Canadian credit cards but it used to be the case that you would have to pick a random state (since the form didn't have provinces listed) but it still always worked. Priceline has literally saved me thousands of dollars.

I looked at the entertainment book, was it worth getting for in Orlando... and what did the coupon save you on the car rental?

Saved $15 with the coupon code AD29 - I got it from the toronto book.
